Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated SAP ABAP Manager to lead our SAP development initiatives. This pivotal full-time role is based on-site in Delaware, United States, offering an exciting opportunity for an individual with deep technical expertise in SAP ABAP and a strong passion for leadership and innovation. As an SAP ABAP Manager, you will be instrumental in guiding our development team, designing robust solutions, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality SAP applications that drive business success.

• Lead and mentor a team of SAP ABAP developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of complex SAP ABAP solutions across various modules.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for SAP ABAP developments, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and system performance requirements.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and viable SAP solutions.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables for SAP development initiatives.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure the quality, efficiency, and maintainability of all developed code.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing expert support for SAP applications.
• Stay abreast of the latest SAP technologies, trends, and methodologies, recommending innovative solutions to enhance our SAP landscape.
• Drive continuous improvement in development processes and methodologies.

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

• Experience: A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in SAP ABAP development and leadership roles.
• Required Skills:
  • Demonstrated expert proficiency in ABAP programming, including ABAP Objects, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF).
  • Strong hands-on experience with UI5 development for SAP Fiori applications, including creating custom apps and extending standard Fiori apps.
• Employment Type: Full-time.
• Location: This is an on-site position in Delaware, United States.
• Compensation: The salary range for this position is $20 - $30.

While not mandatory, candidates possessing the following will be highly regarded:

• Experience with S/4HANA development, including ABAP CDS views, AMDP, and RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model).
• Familiarity with OData services development and consumption.
• Experience with SAP NetWeaver Gateway and SAP Cloud Platform integration.
• Knowledge of various SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, SD, MM, PP) from a technical development perspective.
• Strong understanding of SAP performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team management skills.
• Relevant SAP certifications.
